I am an Interior Design student in my fourth year at the University of Manitoba, finishing my bachelor's degree in the Environmental Design program.
My love for design has stemmed as far as I can remember. I was born in Bogota, Colombia, and have lived in Canada since 2007. Growing up, my father has always been creative, and I would find myself helping with any new projects he had in mind. As I got older, I started to have my input and would share my point of view on certain aspects, which would turn into beautiful projects that came from both of our imaginations. My attention to detail and precision is something I value greatly, and I thank my father for teaching me what I know.
Throughout my studies, I have learned many valuable assets that I thoughtfully apply to my designs. When I design interior commercial spaces, I believe in creating spaces that enhance the well-being and liveliness of those who utilize them. I have also had the chance to design furniture pieces and have learned to appreciate failure as a pathway to success.
I view Interior Design as a profession that cultivates creativity, artistry, and technical skills.
